I have just launched my website this week – the national obiesity week as it happens. My new years resolutions aren’t all coming good in the fitness direction. But the business resolution has really got going. I have booked a session in Cockermouth School to talk to students about the Fashion Industry and the strange view we have on body image in the 21st century.Hopefully they will enjoy hearing a little bit about fashion /costume history and perceptions of beauty and I hope it will make them think. They are supposed to be themselves – not someone else’s view of how they should be, this goes for boys as well as girls – with all the manarexia I have seen lately.
